The following section contains a selected few newsletters I've written during my time at Needlejuice Records. In these newsletters, I was tasked with taking upcoming news, such as new artist announcements and previews images from WIP products, and turning them into an informative and entertaining format.

That's right! The pop artist, poet, and poster, Nat Puff, will be joining us at Needlejuice very soon.Ok, well maybe “pop” isn’t the best word to describe her genre. Maybe it was when Transgender Street Legend Vol. 1, but her musical work spans much more than that (hell, Vol. 3 has a couple soul tracks that I particularly love). “Posting” is also a bit reductive of a way to describe her comedy work. Look, the point is that she does a lot- more than can be summarized in a single alliterative statement. And we get to work with her!Our first project with Nat will be Transgender Street Legend: ACAB Anthology (Assigned Compilation at Birth), a compilation of the three TSL EPs, along with a collection of bonus tracks and remixes by some seriously cool guest stars! And A New Era of Trust Fund Ozu is on the HorizionWith the recent release of her remix album, re:Tribute Summon, Faye Fadem is closing the book on the current era of Trust Fund Ozu, and, in turn, we’ve started coordinating the rollout of the next album-
FAYE DOUBTBy the end of the month, we’ll be releasing the first single from this new album: "SACRIFICIAL VOCALOID". This track is one that showcases FAYE DOUBT’s technical complexity when compared to its predecessor, with layers upon layers of intricate detailing and genre-bending surprises bringing this song of cybernetic love and disposal to life.

This single will be accompanied by a music video animated and produced by Faye herself. We’ve got a snippet of it prepared for you all today- hopefully it gets you all as hyped as we are for this new phase of TFO!

These past few weeks at NJR have been primarily about getting shit done- getting balls rolling, layouts made, products ordered- that whole deal. For instance: we’re ordering the Tomorrow 2096 CDs! To accommodate the new format, there will be all-new art of the album’s iconic vapo-futuristic city inside the booklet. Does this make the CD technically the superior release and, by proxy, assert compact-disc’s dominance in the vaporwave format wars? Who is to say? Debate responsibly.

On the layouts side, we’ve been working on getting everything for the “It’s Okay To Leave a Dog in a Hot Car” single ready for production! The direction of these will follow the same “pastiche the Beatles so closely that it’s scary” mentality that the song itself embodies, and, well, we would consider it quite a success so far! Please ignore the era-inaccurate label.

Next, in celebration of us finally getting the One Weird Tip CDs and Tapes ordered, here's a look at the web 1.0 era geek forum-inspired lyric insert designed by our own Brandon Brown. Savor it- you’re looking at the next generation of obscure Lemon Demon lore characters that will hopefully end up on a kid’s kinlist before the end of the year.

And, finally, we’ve got an update on Louie’s Picks. We’ve got art! and a tracklist! and final masters! Between the covers and insert and gatefold (yes, there is a gatefold. No, you don’t get to see it yet), this release is like a whole art exhibit in itself, and it will definitely be an absolute treat for any fan of Louie’s work. Take a look for yourself- you may just notice a few more of the surprises that lay in store…

So, yeah, big things are going on in the Needlejuice family. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to catch up on my Needletoks.End of NEEDLEJUICE eXTRA PULP CLUB NEWSLETTER 10
